Few events grab the attention of a Santa Fe native like the burning of Zozobra. This annual event draws enormous crowds to Ft. Marcy Park on an evening in September, and if you’re considering becoming a local, this is the event NOT to miss.
In Santa Fe, we’re counting down the days to Indian Market. It’s always the biggest event in town. While the market itself only takes place on August 20 to 23, the events surrounding and leading up to it are beyond numerous.

This past weekend was Spanish Market in Santa Fe. In four weeks we have Indian Market. Anyone who lives in or visits Santa Fe on a regular basis has their favorite event. Mine is probably Wine and Chile Festival. Or maybe Christmas Eve on Canyon Road.
We’re in the last day of the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market, and if you’ve ever wondered about this event, today’s the day to attend. I’ve been several times, and Sunday is by far my favorite day. Although it’s crowded, the throngs of people seem to thin out a tiny bit on Sunday.
