For those of you who follow this website with some regularity, or if you’re read my About Me page, you already know that my Big Why is raising money for Fight Colorectal Cancer. And why is this my Big Why?

Because I am a Stage IV colon cancer (with mets to my liver) survivor.

Santa Fe is the home of amazing lodging. Eldorado Hotel, Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi, Inn of the Governors, Inn at Loretto. . .and one of my personal favorites, Hotel Santa Fe. The list is long and varied. I’m happy to help you find a place if you’re stumped on all the choices.

It’s another beautiful day in paradise. Our paradise. Santa Fe is aglow with color this month. Here’s another amazing shot of the aspens up on Hyde Park Road.

I mentioned the woodvine in my post yesterday about Santa Fe Fall Colors, and here’s a shot I took just down the street. No filter. Just blazing red against an adobe wall.

We are quick to say, always, that we have the best weather in the world in Santa Fe. And we’re right.

The weather here is perfect. Cool mornings, warm days with lots of sunshine. Even in the winter, a snowstorm seldom debilitates the city.

If you’re going to buy or sell real estate in Santa Fe, you’re going to have lots of choices in the Realtor you choose.

If I keep talking in superlatives all the time, people are going to think I’m somewhat of a nut about Santa Fe events. But, hey, this really IS one of the most entertaining, funny, sweet and traditional Santa Fe events you can view, or even participate in.

I love Fiestas de Santa Fe. And I love that we do it to honor La Conquistadora, the oldest madonna brought to the U.S. long before it was the U.S. – in 1625.
