July 30th-31st is the annual Contemporary Hispanic Market. Located at the historic Downtown Plaza in Santa Fe this is a fascinating market that showcases original work and individual expression in the mediums of painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, furniture, jewelry, ceramics, weaving and much more.
The MISSION of the Hispanic Market is to provide statewide Artists an opportunity to show their work and give the casual and serious collector a rare opportunity to meet and visit with some of its most respected Hispanic Artists currently producing art in New Mexico today.
Their PURPOSE is to display contemporary Hispanic Art to a broad audience and expose the Hispanic Artist in a face-to-face encounter with persons interested in learning and collecting such artwork. They are committed to showcase original work and individual expression in the mediums of painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, furniture, jewelry, ceramics, weaving and much more.

The market is open free to the public each year, during the last weekend of July. There will be 134 booths with many medium forms of artwork created by New Mexico Hispanic resident Artists.
