For all of you who spend time on the Santa Fe Plaza, be it a weekend afternoon or a Thursday night watching music on the Bandstand, you know that it’s beautiful, lush, and green.

If you ever wondered how it’s all maintained and groomed and watered, the answer is that early every summer morning, a city crew is out in force. I love it when I arrive on my walk early enough to catch them at their chores, trimming this, watering that. . .and I love to catch the sprinklers circling in the sunlight.
