If you know me, you know I’m a coffee lover! In my family we grow up drinking coffee, and we might have all started drinking it a little too young. My mom has a constant pot of coffee going at her house. To me coffee means sitting down to visit with a cousin, aunt, uncle or a close friend. The way I take my coffee has varied over the years, but it’s very rare that I will ever turn down a good cup of coffee. A couple of years ago I did a 60-day challenge of having a cup of coffee with a friend or colleague every day, which honestly wasn’t really a challenge for me at all. So, I thought it was about time I shared some of my favorite Santa Fe coffee places with you! If you love coffee as much as I do, you’re going to need this list.
Iconik coffee is a Santa Fe staple. With two locations (Lena and ‘Lupe) it’s that much easier to stop in for a great cup of coffee while you’re out running errands or if you need a quick break from the office. You can also order their roasted coffee beans online!
It was a little difficult to put Ohori’s at the #2 spot on this list. Some people might argue with me on that choice and honestly, they might be right. Ohori’s could easily make the top of this list, so let’s just agree in saying that Ohori’s is amazing! Several of their Yelp reviews also agree, “Easily the best coffee in Santa Fe. It has the classic Santa Fe vibe and the staff is both friendly and knowledgeable about their products.” I love that Ohori’s gives you the full coffee and Santa Fe experience at every location. My personal favorite: the Santa Fe Blend.

Sky Coffee in the Railyard District not only has delicious coffee and pastries, but also offers one of the best people-watching spots in town. Head over to the Santa Fe Farmers market on a Tuesday or Saturday and then stop into Sky for a hot or iced Americano to make your morning truly perfect. Check out their full menu online.
If this were a list of the best donut places in Santa Fe, Craft Donuts and Coffee would definitely be #1 on the list! I love their donuts, and you’ve probably seen me post about their monthly specials far too often on my Instagram page. But their coffee is truly delicious too. Craft Donuts serves Red Rock Roasters coffee, a New Mexico True coffee roaster originally out of Albuquerque. My favorite treat there is the Chai Latte or Breve. Order online or pick-up from their adorable food truck across the street from Kaune’s Market.
If you’ve had a cup of coffee at any restaurant in Santa Fe, you’ve probably tasted what 35˚ North Coffee has to offer. But have you ever been to their San Francisco St location? You will find some true Santa Fe vibes there, and what is a coffee place without some good vibes, really? I suggest you try their truly delicious cold brew or mocha if you’re looking for something on the sweet side. “Find your latitude” at their website.
Cafecito is a new addition to the Santa Fe coffee scene. Overlooking the trailhead, this gorgeous spot is perfect for an afternoon meeting or if you want to show you friend the cool, new, hip place in town. The coffee will perk you up and the atmosphere will leave you feeling revived! Check out more on their gorgeous website.
Looking for a coffee spot with a full breakfast menu? Check out Sagche’s and steer clear of the Starbucks across the street. We’re talking only local on this list!
A Santa Fe classic and a go-to for a reliably good cup of ‘joe.’ Java Joe’s mission is simple, “serve locally roasted coffee, delicious baked goods, and provide a meeting place for members of our community to return day after day.” And boy do they deliver on that promise. My favorite thing about Java Joe’s? They have a drive-thru! Check out their website for online ordering.
The Tea House might not be everyone’s cup of tea (get it!) but this adorable spot is perfect for a special coffee (or tea) outing. Right down Canyon Road, it’s a great place to stop into during an afternoon of gallery walking. Don’t forget to grab a scone (or two) while you’re there! Tea House website.
I really hate to put Tribes at the end of this list because it’s still one of my favorites, but with so many terrific coffee places in Santa Fe, somebody had to be #10! Don’t let the number fool you thought, Tribes is well loved in this city and for good reason. They offer diverse menu of drinks and food for breakfast and lunch and the atmosphere is too adorable to pass up. Find their menus and locations online.
