About Santa Fe

'It had been some time since I had eaten at Mucho Gusto and was surprised to see a completely new menu and prices that had actually gone down! The food is less Mexican in its orientation and more traditional New Mexican, but with interesting Mexican gourmet twists. Four of us were consistently delighted with our varied selections. We started by sharing a fundido - a salsa and cheese plate served with warm flour tortillas. For entrees we had an Enchilada Suiza (with tomatillo sauce and feta), a lamb burrito (stuffed with lots of meat and great green chile, $13.95), The Bomb (a really tasty stuffed chicken breast), and a grilled salmon plate (with calabacitas, $14.95) that was the prettiest plate of food I've ever seen. Everything was served with unexpectedly flavorful black beans and a tomato-tinted rice. We were too stuffed to eat dessert but I'm sure that would have been great, too. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere cozy, fresh, and attractive. We could not have been happier.'
