Adobe Gallery specializes in contemporary and historic Southwest Indian Pueblo Pottery and Native American Paintings. Adobe Gallery's beautiful walk-in Santa Fe Gallery is located at the beginning of historic Canyon Road. Adobe Gallery's staff is professional and knowledgeable in pottery and artwork from numerous Native American Pueblos and other southwestern Native Nations.

Adobe Gallery also has a book collection that includes a variety of Southwest Indian Pueblo texts, arts, crafts, and other southwestern art subjects. Current happenings at Adobe Gallery:

Opening Reception Monday, August 10 from 4 – 7 pm, exhibiting through September, 2015.

Adobe Gallery will, for the first time, have a display and sale of Native American paintings of artists who have chosen to abandon the Santa Fe Indian School two-dimensional art style and to adopt an avant-garde style of painting in a more modern verve.  Artists included are Shonto Begay, Tony Abeyta, Jaune Quick-to-see Smith, Kevin Red Star, Dan Namingha, Kee Bahee and Joe Maktima.

Also on Monday, August 10, 4 - 7 p.m., as part of Adobe Gallery's August 2015 Indian Market Special Exhibit Opening, there will be a good signing of The Marvin and Betty Rubin Collection of “20th-Century Native Arts”.

Also, Allan Hayes and John Blom will be in attendance to autograph their new book SOUTHWESTERN POTTERY: Anasazi to Zuni (Second Edition). This is a completely revised and expanded version of the first edition and includes many more pottery examples in photograph representation.
