By now, you’ll be ready for lunch at The Plaza Cafe — an iconic Santa Fe establishment opened in 1905 by the Ipiotis brothers, originally from Greece. From here, you can take in the views of the plaza and enjoy delicious food such as the Greek Salad or a New Mexican specialty such as the stuffed sopaipilla.

After lunch you can take a short walk from the Plaza down Johnson Street to the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum where you can enjoy the beautiful art of this iconic artist and learn more about her life. There is a wonderful new exhibit that has debuted this spring.

After being inspired by the amazing art of O’Keeffe, you can drive a short distance to The Santa Fe Botanical Garden to view the beauty of the Southwest landscape……see this desert landscape come alive and enjoy nature in all its glory.

Nestled in a historic 19th century abode, Santacafé specializes in serving unique American cuisine with a southwestern flair. The restaurant has four candlelit dining rooms complete with corner fireplaces and charming ceilings.
