A wonderful piece of land, with its western boundary on the hillside and the major acequia- concrete lined, meandering along the bottom of the hillside. Plenty of irrigation rights, a water well, and several lateral ditches to irrigate all the bottomland. The property did have a mobile home that was removed. The septic system was abandoned. Apple orchards, other fruit trees, and plenty of grass land.
The areas to the north between Santa Fe and Taos possess some of the most spectacular and varied landscapes in New Mexico. Beautiful communities line the Taos Gorge and the Rio Grande like Espanola, Velarde & Dixon along what is called the ‘Low Road’ to Taos.
The ‘High Road’ is a scenic, winding road through the Sangre de Cristo Mountains that runs between Santa Fe and Taos.
