A Dream property: Views, to the Truchas Peaks and Sangres in the East; and to the West, through to the Rio Grande Valley, speckled with farms and ranchos, opening to the Jemez mountains. There is the river (the Rio de Truchas) flowing east to west through the property and the Acequia Madre with dedicated water rights for this property (approx 2.2 acres). There is lovely, green pine forest at the top of the property. There are several choices for building sites, while still preserving meadows for alfalfa and grazing for horses. A bosque at the entrance to the property provides a visual screen for privacy. Currently, there is a simple crossing over the river on foot. The acequia as it crosses this property has been improved and made more efficient with operative sluice pipe for irrigation.
