The focus of the gallery is to showcase provocative and compelling art of international acclaim. All events open on the First Friday of each month along with the celebrated First Friday Art Walks in the Downtown Arts + Museum District.

EVOKE Contemporary and the Downtown Arts and Museum District has grown and evolved to becoming one of the most prestigious cultural destinations for art collectors worldwide. The foremost galleries in the contemporary art world along with seven renowned museums are easily navigated in downtown Santa Fe. Savvy travelers and locals alike are familiar with the cosmopolitan flair to be experienced at any of the award-winning restaurants within this romantic, walking district. The deep-rooted history and culture of Santa Fe is preserved and celebrated in the Downtown Arts + Museum District through a diverse array of museums, galleries and world-class shopping.

EVOKE Contemporary’s 2013 line up of events includes the following: EVOKE celebrates every February with the annual ART Feast extravaganza by participating in E.A.T. | Edible Art Tour paired with our friends at Il Piatto Italian Farmhouse Kitchen & Inoteca to benefit the ARTsmart Charity. Lee Price and Sean Cheetham ignite the summer season with an exhibition of figurative oil paintings in May. Next at EVOKE is the annual exhibition of landscapes by Lynn Boggess introducing a fresh group of New Mexico paintings. Low-Flying Dream Girls and the alluring vision of Pamela Wilson comes on July 5th after the fireworks. With August comes a retrospective exhibition of Louisa McElwain and her spectacular oils of joy created in the vast panoramas of Northern New Mexico. Continuing with a masterful trio of landscape painters, September brings a group show including Francis Di Fronzo and Lisa Grossman. In October, we are honored to have Kent Williams in Santa Fe to unveil his highly provocative figurative paintings for his third solo show at EVOKE Contemporary.
